Lakeview is a great place to go for a north wind if you live in Fort Worth or Grapevine and you don't want to drive to Lake Lewisville and pay to get in.

Warning:Do not ride downwind of the south boat ramp as the walk back can be difficult if the water level is real high. Also if you breakdown on the other side of the bay and drift to the eastern shore your faced with a really long creek up the cove to walk around. Hitchiking back is better.

The wind fetch here is not real far from the north side of the lake so the wind can be holey but the beach is true sideshore when it's straight onshore at Oak Grove.

As a bonus if yo uhead accross the bay and ride downwind of the island on the other side you will be rewarded with some super smooth butter water.
