Terry Lane is a small
park at the end of it's namesake.. It is in Heath well south of I-30 and
we go there only when it's blowing from the north or west.
Warning:Beware
of riding here if you cannot stay upwind. Ift is blowing with any east
at all you could end up offshore of the south Last resort. There are no
"legal" places to walk up to the road between the homes to the
east of the launch either so I don't recommend it.
This
is a not a good place to launch and land alone without assitance from
a local because of the trees and water purification station straight downwind
100 feet away. Drifting down to the Last Resort landing and dropping your
kite along the shore homes on a west wind is not a good way to ride here.
The home owners are NOT tollerant of kiters walking through their yards
when walking out of the water. Do not land and walk up in the backyard
of someones home as it will create problems for locals that have been
riding here for years..
